Importing and exporting DWG with Blender

Be sure to read the general installation instructions of the ar library. Do not expect perfect results, but in general export will work better than import

Import

From the menu choose:

File > Import > EveryDwg (.dwg;.dxf)...

A file window will ask for the filename to be imported.

Then proceed like you would do for dxf import.

Export

From the menu choose:

File > Export > EveryDwg (.dwg;.dxf)...

A file window will ask for a filename. Give it a .dwg or .dxf extension.

Afterwards you will get a menu with all possible dwg or dxf versions.

Then proceed like you would do for dxf export.
